A newsletter is something new for Grace UMC, and I want to share a bit about why we’re starting it. As our church continues to grow and find its footing, I’ve been thinking about better ways to keep us connected, informed, and grounded in the life we share together. A church is more than what happens on Sunday morning, and sometimes the good, faithful work happening throughout the month deserves a little more space to be seen and celebrated.

This newsletter is meant to help us tell that story. While the format and information include is a work in progress, my intent is that It’s a place to look back at where we’ve seen God at work, to share what’s coming up, and to stay connected to one another beyond announcements and quick updates. Not everyone is able to be present for every event or gathering, and not everyone connects through social media, so this is one more way to help us stay in touch as a church family.

You’ll find reflections on ministry, upcoming opportunities to gather and serve, and reminders that what we do together matters. My hope is that this newsletter feels less like a bulletin and more like a conversation, a way of keeping our eyes open to how God is shaping us as Grace UMC. Please share any ideas that you have for improving it.

Thank you for being part of this church and for the many ways you serve, encourage, and care for one another. As we begin this new practice together, I pray it helps us stay connected and attentive to the work God is doing in and through us.
