Soup Sunday

Grace United Methodist Church invites everyone to stop by for Soup Sunday on November 16 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. This is a drive-thru or walk-up event, so you can simply pull in, pick up a warm meal, and take it home to enjoy. We’ll be serving chili and a variety of homemade soups—all completely free. It’s our way of offering a little warmth and comfort to our community as the days grow cooler. You don’t have to be a member of our church to come by—everyone is welcome.

At Grace UMC, we believe that faith isn’t just spoken—it’s lived out. Serving others is one of the most practical ways we can be the hands and feet of Jesus in Iuka. Through something as simple as a bowl of soup, we hope to share His love and remind our neighbors that they’re cared for and never alone. Whether you’re driving through or walking up, we pray you feel the heart behind what we do: love in action, given freely, just like the grace God gives to us.

Donations of Soup Are Welcome

If you’d like to be part of this outreach, we’d love your help! We’re inviting anyone in the community to sign up to bring a crockpot of soup—any kind you enjoy making. Whether it’s your favorite chili recipe, a hearty vegetable soup, or a family classic, every pot helps us serve more neighbors with love. You can sign up online at signupgenius.com, and drop off your soup at the church before the event begins. It’s a simple way to make a big difference, turning your kitchen into a place of ministry and your recipe into a gift of grace.
